Hello everyone!
Today we're going to learn about sensors
Introduction :
In these days, The sensors play a vital role in today's world. Without sensors, we are unable to find the solutions to a crisis faced by society or industries like if we need to take-off the drone above from the ground, we need sensors, this also used in Robotics too. Undoubtedly, sensors are useful in our normal day to day life. No problems arises from the sensors but indeed, it definitely has merits and demerits.
Relevance:
In day to day life the sensors are used by many of us, sensors helps to convert environment, natural problems to a electrical energy like mobile batteries when the mobile gets charged 100% it automatically stops to send the charge and in the water well too.
What are sensors?
-->Sensors are nothing but which sense or detect the events. In other words when the input (environment and nature problems) is given to the sensors it detects and convert any form of energy to electrical energy.
Different types of sensors
First I'll go with Touch sensor

Different types of sensors
- Touch sensor
- Rain sensor
- Alcohol sensor
- Smoke sensor
- Gas sensor
- Color sensor
- Heart beat sensor
First I'll go with Touch sensor
what does touch sensor mean?
Touch sensor represents when the electronic circuit detects the change in capacitance and converts to a trigger signal
For example : mobile phones, TV switch, remote etc
How does touch sensor works?
In mobile phones, when we tap on mobile screen, the light is displayed on the screen. If seems like this is a short then let me tell you about security and password in the mobile phone, take example of Fingerprint we give our fingerprints to a device for security purposes. If we need to unlock then we use our thumb to unlock it, then the sensor detects whether the fingerprint matches or not if yes then it unlocks else gets lock in few tries.
What does Rain sensor mean?
It is a rain switching device that is activated by the rainfall is called Rain sensor.
How does this work?
Before the cyclone attacks the city, the rain sensor detects it and sends the report. It may take 3 days or more.
When it detects the rain it automatically switched off the irrigation system.
Alcohol sensor : well, This is most used by police to find out a person whether he's drunken or not during driving.
How does this work?
This sensor basically looks like a remote and a pipe attached to it When the person blows the pipe the readings changes if he's drunken then it raises,
It has a high sensitivity and response time .
Heart beat sensor : This commonly used in hospitals to read the heart beat rate.
Solar sensor : When sun rays falls on the solar panel it detects and converts it to electrical energy.
Light sensor : This converts Light Energy to electrical energy.
Not only above ones, indeed there are many different types of sensors used today
Conclusion :
Use of sensors increase safety and security, there are large sensors used to many electronic items or devices.
