Welcome back to Our Blog, In this particular article we're going to see about why websites ask for 'Cookies ' Permission? And what kind of information does our cookies stores ?
Before going to our main question why websites Asks for Cookies Permission, lets see what exactly this cookies mean!
Cookies are tasty delicious baked food items known as biscuits in some countries.
Haha but we're not going to discuss about this cookies.
So basically browser cookies are A Piece Of data files which are stored in our local computer / browser storage while we browse the Internet, they're encrypted files.
The cookies consists of two bits of data, one is our unique id which is generated when we enter into website server and another one is data!
Now hope you're clear about that unique id, but what is that data now? What does it contains?
So basically that data consists of some information like
_ What we are surfed in that website
_ How much time we have spent on it (website)
And some cookies also steals personal information like passwords, users and other data that is done by cookies stealing but that's hacking terminology we're not going to discuss about it.
Now I hope you're clear about what cookies are and what they contains.

Why Websites Asks for Cookies?
It's just A kind of marketing! Whenever you visits websites it will asks your for cookies permission And if you accept it, it will retrieves all the information from your cookie (what you had surfed before, Other info) And they brings the posts which you surfed before!
In short - They uses cookies to remember your surfed data.
For example let's say you have searched for A Power bank in Amazon site and now the amazon site will generates A unique id and your info and stores it, and whenever you visit any other websites on Google, lets say you have visited any Google Adsence enabled website (ads enabled site) and it will asks you for cookies permission, if you accept it, it will starts automatically showing you other various brands, kinds of Power banks, because the cookie which is stored in Amazon site is came into picture in this website..
So this is how cookies works And if you ask me Is it safe to accept cookies permission!
It will be 100% safe if you give permission in A secured https website but if you give / accept in any third party websites it will be dangerous, because As I said before cookies can be stolen by cookies stealing attack.
So just be safe where you're giving / accepting the permission of cookies.
