I'm pretty sure you might have seen the news & hype " Major Social Media Accounts Facebook, Instagram & Twitter Going to ban in India"

On February 25, 2021.
Indian introduced some solid policies for Facebook, Instagram & twitter and the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology Of India given 3 months deadline to accept the new policies
But still they didn't accepted those deadlines that's the reason people are saying they're going to be ban
If yes ask me what's those guidelines.
the government had announced regulations for social media firms, requiring them to remove any content flagged by account users within 36 hours and setting up a accurate complaint redressal mechanism with an officer being based in the country.
And they also said all this social media platforms have to publish all reports taken, action taken etc
And government also said that if they fail to accept this guidelines they will ban this social media platforms.
This is the exact matter!
recently spokesperson of the facebook company said in a statement -
"We aim to comply with the provisions of the IT rules and continue to discuss a few of the issues which need more engagement with the government. According to the IT rules, we are working to implement operational processes and improve efficiencies. Facebook remains committed to people's ability to freely and safely express themselves on our platform,"
If India ban all this social medias it would be a huge lose for them because
India is the leading most Facebook users country right now and its in 2nd in most instgram users in a country.
The last deadline is today
