Xiaomi has unveiled their wireless charger that is capable of charging phones from 0-80% in just 20 minutes.
The Xiaomi wireless charger is the first device to employ a new standard called Qi-version 2.1. This new standard is capable of transmitting power wirelessly at speeds of up to 60W and it is currently able to charge the Xiaomi Mi 8, iPhone XS Max, Samsung Galaxy S9, and other smartphones with a Qi-version 2.1 receiver at full speed.
Xiaomi claims that their wireless charger can charge any Qi-enabled smartphone at its maximum charging rate as long as they have this version installed in the device or have a receiver built into it (like the one found in Google Pixel 3).
